NCSRA.png

Recertifying Referee Registration and Certification for the 2024 USSF Registration year will open on July 10, 2023.  Your current 2023 referee licence is valid until December 31, 2023.  You have until that date to complete your 2024 recertifying referee registration.  Once all your 2024 recertifying referee requirements are completed, that referee license will be valid until December 31, 2024.  To recertify for 2025, referees will need to complete recertification on or after July 10, 2024, at your convenience, to be eligible to referee as of January 1, 2025.

6 Easy Steps

1

Please complete the Supplemental Google Doc Form. Next, update your Arbiter account if any of your info has changed (address, email, phone #).  The 2024 registration fee is $120.00 which will be charged to the credit card provided. Once your registration has been received, NCSRA will send you a follow up email to validate your email and provide further information on the recertification process. The direct link to the 2024 Recertifying Referee Registration is here: 2024 NCSRA Referee Registration

2

If you have changed any of your contact information since your last registration, please update that info in your US Soccer Learning Center Account as well.  A direct link to the US Soccer Learning Center is here:  Access You Learning Center Account

3

Complete the 2024 NCSRA Recertification Refresher Course, which is approximately 1 hour in length.  Please use the same email you have listed in your arbiter account when registering for this course so you will receive credit upon completion.

4

Complete the online Safesport Training Course, accessed through the US Soccer Learning Center Safeguarding Page.  Log in to your Learning Center Account and from the landing page, select "Safeguarding" and then select the Safesport Training.  Once completed, please email the completion certificate to the NCSRA Office at ncsra@ncsoccer.org.  We (NCSRA) will run your required Background Check.  You DO NOT have to take the Background Check on the US Soccer Website and pay the additional $30, as this is included in your NCSRA registration.

5

Complete the online Safe and Healthy Playing Environments Course, accessed through the US Soccer Learning Center Safeguarding Page.  Log in to your Learning Center Account and from the landing page, select "Safeguarding" and then select the Safe and Healthy Playing Environments Course. Once completed, please email the NCSRA Office at ncsra@ncsoccer.org to confirm completion. Any issues locating your US Soccer Learning Center completion certificates, please contact NCSRA Administrator Erick Varone at michaelsofficial14@gmail.com and he can assist.

6

Complete the 2024 NCSRA Recertifying Referee Test

When registering for this test please use the exact 1st name, last name and email showing in your arbiter account so you receive credit for the test upon completion.  This test has 109 questions and 70% is the passing score.  If you do not get 70% or higher, you will be able to take the test again as needed.  Also, on our website, www.ncsra.org, in the "Referees Tab" you will see a "Referee Training Session" section.  There, you will see all of the on-field and/or webinar training sessions currently scheduled across the state, which will be updated when a new session is scheduled.  If you would like to attend any of these sessions as a refresher for yourself, please contact NCSRA Administrator Erick Varone at michaelsofficial14@gmail.com to get assigned.  There is no charge for any of these sessions for certified referees, as this is included in your registration fee.

Once you complete these 6 steps, please email NCSRA Administrator Erick Varone at michaelsofficial14@gmail.com.  He will confirm your completion, process your 2024 Recertification and have your 2024 Referee Badge mailed to the address listed in your arbiter account. Thank you for completing your 2024 Recertification.  Have a great year out on the pitch!!
